Advantages of machining stainless steel parts
Stainless steel is a family of iron-based alloys that contain a minimum of roughly 11 percent chromium, an element that prevents rust and withstands extreme temperatures. This material also has a long cycle life and is 100 percent recyclable, making it environmentally friendly.
There are over 150 grades of stainless steel, a handful of which are used in everyday applications. Specific performance characteristics will vary by grade, but here are common traits.

Type 303Se: has selenium and also phosphorous for enhanced machinability.
Type 304: one of the most common qualities, with the base 18/8 make-up (18 percent chromium, 8 percent nickel); likewise called A2 stainless steel.
Type 305: increased nickel content lowers work hardening homes.
Type 309 309S: more excellent chromium and nickel content give better corrosion and high temperature scaling resistance; 309S has much less carbon to reduce carbide precipitation.
Type 310 310S: better nickel content boosts scaling resistance; 310S consists of less carbon to reduce carbide precipitation.
Type 321: titanium content ties up the carbon and aids stay clear of chromium carbide precipitation when welding the material.
Type 330: ultra-high nickel content gives the highest feasible corrosion resistance in a lot of heater atmospheres; this grade offers a low coefficient of expansion, excellent flexibility, as well as greater strength.
